The Sisterhood Archives is a self initiated series of postcards aiming to remember the Indian feminist pioneers and symbols. Starting out as a conversation amongst friends in a hostel room, its an attempt at reimagining their ideologies in today’s context, to make it more relatable to the Modern Indian woman. The quirky pop art style takes inspiration from old Indian matchbox art with an added modern interpretation.
This project is an homage and a remembrance to the icons who brought about a significant change and inspired Indian culture.
