With 31 apartment buildings, Jasminium is the biggest housing society and community in Magarpatta city. The apartment complex houses over 800 people and has a wide variety of amenities for the residents. The city itself is a 600-acre, privately owned gated community in the Hadapsar area of Pune, India.  As Jasminium has complicated internal routes with multiple entry and exit points with little to no signages within the compound, it was necessary to establish a way-finding system that suits the needs of the various visitors and guide them efficiently.

We undertook a detailed space analysis and research process that evaluated the quality of environment, residents and stakeholder navigational patterns as well as understanding the relational traffic of the housing society with Magarpatta.
With a large and somewhat haphazardly planned space that was home to a significant population of Magarpatta city, it was important to make the sprawling space easy to navigate. Thus, we devised a zonal plan that divided the complex into three zones based on the main gates for entry from different parts of Magarpatta.

The visual language was built on the qualities of grace and assurance. A structured and elegant logo was crafted that served as the basis for the signage structural design. Flora inspired curves and elevated simplicity were the core principles of the  signage design.
